What’s Scarier? + 4 Steps To Move Through Fear

And now… ask yourself this question.

What’s scarier?

Going for your dreams or reaching the end of your life and realizing you didn’t try?

Dreams = a better relationship with yourself, a thriving love-based business, a successful creative project, genuine intimacy with your partner, a healthier body.

In the dozens of conversations I’ve had with people in the last few weeks about saying yes to their dreams, I first hear the fears of why it’s not possible.

…time, money, what my partner, friends, or parents will think.

But, when a person gets really honest, the thing they’re most scared about is how it would feel to not change, to not realize their dreams.

…hopeless, sad, frustrating, very worrisome, hellish.

Remember, you are either moving towards your dreams or away from them, every single day.

What this means is that if you’re not taking conscious action towards the thing you desire, you’re actually strengthening your muscle to move further away from it, every single day.

So how do you start?

Here are 4 simple steps:

1. Give yourself time to get deeply honest. What would it feel like to reach the end of your life, or even a moment three months from now, where you realize you’re not a step closer to your heart’s desire… an improved relationship, the project you want to create, a healthier body or mind?

2. Honor your timing. You may want to go gung-ho right away into action with your awareness from Step 1. Or you may need time to process all that comes up before you “take action.” Remember, taking time is action too, but you need to discern what’s procrastination vs. honoring your timing.

3. Take at least 1 action every single day. Half-hearted efforts yield half-hearted results. Consistency builds confidence, both of which lead to results.

4. Love yourself big-time during the whole journey. Make sure you have the tools—a coach, healers, friends, support groups. Remember, you are worth it, and the universe is so ready to gift you a beautiful life.
